Candace is the author of over 30 novels under a pen name, including titles that have been featured in Amazon's Top 100 Best Sellers in certain genres. Living on a msall southwest Florida ranch, Candace enjoys competitive pool and kayaking on the Peace River. She shares her ranch with Edgar, Poe, and three other miniature horses, as well as two dogs, two cats, and a variety of 'visitors' including a five foot alligator patrolling the driveway between the pasture pond and the small pond out front. Cougars, lynx, and other wildlife pass through on their way to the larger surrounding ranches.

 

It was a natural match for her to join Linda Roman in her efforts with her Mustang and neglected horse sanctuary.  Linda explained misconceptions and abuses concerning these untamable or untrainable animals, and Mystic Mustangs Publishing, LLC was formed to help subsidize Linda's ranch, Horse Crossing Rescue/Sanctuary and other independent caregivers contributing their time and patience to these horses.
